Really not that bad. Calling my grandparents now to ask them to bring me a jersey back from Pakistan
When will they be on sale? ehtesham do you know?
PakistanZindabad! what was so likeable about that? :slap
Just acknowledging I'd read it lol
Does anyone know when it'll be on sale in Pakistan
I don't understand - there are professional designers that work for cheap in every country. How hard is it to be able to keep up with modern design trends and come up with a great looking shirt.
I barely have any experience and I bet I could make something better!
I'm probably the only Pakistan fan who isn't obsessed with jerseys? I recall Wasim's spell to Dravid in Sharjah, I remember Razzaq's 5-fer against SL to tie the match, I remember matches from as early as 1996. But I don't remember what jersey design they were wearing. It's a very feminine trait to remember what someone was wearing at a certain time.
I have a few Pakistan jerseys and if you asked me which ones I own or how they look, I couldn't tell you without looking at them. So why have I always seen dozens of pages of discussion on Pakistan jersey design on these forums?
It's not even lime green which is bad enough, it's fluorescent green- leave that to the high visibility jackets worn by construction workers and criminals doing community service.
The green is terrible and the lines, don't even know what the hell they are.
I accept it doesn't look as bad on the players as it did on geo but to be honest that isn't saying much. It's like saying Junaid Khan is a better batsman than Mohammad Irfan.
God good. Well the good thing is that I dont like it so I wont be buying it. This way couple of months down the line I wont be staring at the shirt hanging in my closet bringing back all the bad memories.
Looks good. I like it.
Get a relative to buy you one from that Bajwa's Sports Shop or whatever the name was in Anarkali in Lahore. Lots of rip offs there and you may as well buy a fake one for cheap considering how hideous this thing is.
When you dont have performance to show then at least have a classic jersey ..may be that is the reason why everyone is pissed otherwise I dont really understand the outrage.. its a bloody jersey. Who cares how they look on field.
It shows professionalism, it shows attention to detail and it shows that the management team gives a shit. If you step into a bank and the bank manager shows up in chaddie and banyan would they get your business ? I know the example is a bit exaggerated but the point is that if you aren't capable of managing your appearance and then what exactly are you capable of ?
Look at anyone successful and you will always see a well put together individual. You dont necessarily wear suites all the time. But you have to wear stuff that makes you look decent.
We have seen in past more professional boards like ECB and SouthAfrica came up with some lame kits.. no one really cared.
I cared man. I will not allow myself to follow these un-kept, badly groomed heathens.
this green color has nothing to do with pakistan
its not even the same color as 1992 or 99 ffs
its like pakola lime
chichoray lagein ge cricketers
what I don't understand is how these ridiculous kits get passed
do they not get opinions from others?
Haven't seen this pic posted so far;
I want an original with my name on
I bet 1000 euro this is @KingOfDoosra's next avatar.
Nope Misbah's in it
Hafeez ne fair and lovely ki dhukan kholi hai meray khayal main..
Guy behind Misbah is the splitting image of Messi.
The shirts are designed to last only 6 games.
Yeah good bro... started uni currently in exam period but should be back to full business soon wbu?
Haris ki smile kitni cute hai :lol
Lol... so in essence you are too much of a man to care about what you wear.
A lot of people care because a) they want to support the team by wearing the shirt and obviously they want to wear a decent shirt and im sure the players themselves agree with that.
b) it does resonate a lot with others title or world cup winning kits like 92 which is now a memorable kit for us
This has bothered me for a while. And this seems like a good place as any to ask. Why is it that colors schemes for national teams is so freakin limited
Pakisan, SA, Bangla, Ireland, Kenya all wear Green
India, Eng, SL and Afg all wear Blue (you can also throw Scotland) in there
Zim and WI wear maroon/red
So basically all international teams pretty much either wear Green, Yellow, Maroon or Blue. Even the Aussies that had a unique and distinct color threw in the green on their kits to match South Africa. Whats up with that ?
10 International test teams 4 color kits. Does anyone else finds that, I dunno stupid ?
Yasir Shah.. known as Pakistani Messi
Well red, green and blue are primary colours and I'd imagine it's easier from a design perspective to go with the colour that most people would like. Colours like purple and pink are out for feminine reasons and some others like orange look clownish.
what agreat pic!
nice to see the boys having fun
also Yasir looks a spolliting image of messi
I do like picking one shirt over another, but I'm not going decide what shade of a color I want. I'm sorry but that's a feminine trait. This is how I and most men see colors:
This makes sense. I guess I couldn't relate here because I don't buy a jersey for every major tournament.
It's "spitting" image. Stop butchering the word. :lol
we should try some new color in future instead of green,, jersey doesnt have to be of flag color.
NZ dont have black in their flag or Australia dont have yellow in their flag.
A human eye can distinguish thousands or millions of colors – obviously, one can't give a precise figure because colors that are too close may be mistakenly identified, or the same colors may be mistakenly said to be different, and so on. The RGB colors of the generic modern PC monitors written by 24 bits, like #003322, distinguish 224∼17,000,000 colors.
You can take out as many colors as you like from that list. It should atleast leave us with one color per team. And you don't have to stay with the primarily colors. Besides white they can use any color they want. Yet they stick with the three that all the other teams also use. Such a desi thing to do. Hey guys how about we try something new ? Nah I am gonna do what everyone else is doing and try not to stand out too much. Can't really screw up if I stay with the same thing everyone else is doing.
I think Pakistani team is married to the color green because of the flag. I can't see them switching to another color any time soon as they would be accused of being unpatriotic by idiots.
we had this 1996
not completely diff but green is quite recessive in this jersey
