It is now three sixes for number eight Hassan Ali and three sixes for number nine Wahab Riaz. It is the first time six sixes have been hit by number eight and lower in a World Cup innings.

Stat alert: Highest 8th wicket stand for Pak in WCs surpassing 54 between Rashid Latif & Wasim Akram vs Aus in Joburg in 2003.

45 from 36...wow I hate these close finishes. Especially having to drive home from work in 10 minutes following it

To win this game Pakistan don't have to hit boundaries off Starc but they will target Richardson. He does have three to bowl too. The leg-side boundary is a big hit.

Take the match to 27 runs then release the hand break.

    OUT! Wahab well played.

This will help in NRR even though it won't matter in the end.

Is this Sarfaraz for real? Took a run on the last ball and now Shaheen will face the next over.

WTH! they have no sense at all.

It's all Asif and Malik's fault.

Oh g we will die if we don't have hitter. Now what shall I do with hitter?? Come on you tell me?? And if he was Buttler I wouldn't mind, you guys are dying over Asif Ali??

Malik had 13 average. No way he should have been here. He's continued what I've been saying for two years however 'nah g Babar had average of 29 in England'. These mongs were about to leave out Amir aswell. Rizwan and Haris were crucial. No one will make 350 in world cup.

Hafeez and Imam are culprit in today's game - they literally gifted their wickets, specially Hafeez who gave catch on full-toss that too of Finch - I mean are you kidden me man?

Once these two are gone, Finch deployed Cumming and Starc and went for kill and in the process Malik and Asif were gone.

However, Hassan and Wahab, in spite of all their limitation showed that they've balls and still kept us in the game.

So blame goes to Imam, Hafeez, Malik mahoos, and Asif for today's lost.

ASIF ALI is the biggest culprit. Dropped 3 catches and then scored nothing. If he had taken those catches Australia would have never crossed 275

Annoying game.. first needlessly collapsing to stupid deliveries... then taking us so close then eventually losing. I guess NRR benefits in all this.

Only other teams can win like this against us. Windies in 1975 they legit needed 100 runs with 2 wickets left and they won.

Most frustrating thing is that we’ve had 4 years to prepare for this tournament and we have to rely on flukey wins. Even Afghanistan are better prepared than us.

Pakistan team thoroughly deserves where they are. They had a pretty good preparation period to get ready for WC. Instead the dumb ass selection by jonsa ******* selector and idiot captain agreeing to the squad ruined a chance to do well. I hope they get thrashed black and blue by India so Jonsa Raiwand ka ullu ka patha darbari never shows up on any media.
