In celebration of his axing as captain and as a player from International side.

Lets take a look back at Sarfraz as a cricketer.

1- Lead Pakistan U19 side to World Cup win in 2006 against India in a very low scoring game - We all know he played 0% part in the win, yet he was given all the credit

2- Joins Pakistan International team around 2011-12 season, bats through the overs in all important Asia Cup final in 2012 and gets the team to a dependable score - But we all know it was the Pakistan bowling that won that final for them, Sarfraz scoring at the end was pointless

3- Joins Pakistan Test Squad and gets multiple fluke 100s and very good S/R - it was nothing but a fluke

4- Leading batsman for Pakistan in 2015 World Cup - Another fluke run

5- Wins Champions Trophy from almost getting eliminated to winning the final against India in 2017 - He took credit for basically doing nothing, it was all thanks to Pakistan bowlers and Bumra's no ball. And Prera drop catch of course

Overall a fluke, mediocre player and captain at best.

Pakistan team have so many good options that can lead the side to wins on consistent basis.

Plus we have 3-4 great keepers waiting to get their opportunity and that will do 10x better than Sarfraz

    Good Riddance.

Sarfraz never had game to be successful at any level.

His keeping was okiesh but nothing special.

With bat he kept on blowing hot and cold air, with some fluke innings. Also, mostly those innings came when he wasnt skipper, which means zilch responsibility.

What aggravates me about Sarfraz was that, despite of winning CT, he remained a spineless captain with absolutely no say in selection matters. Also he had no answer to counter the opposition when they're on charge.

Icing on the cake, his love of Nihari, Paya, korma and Briyani gave him nothing but a potbelly. Seems to me he had no work ethics at all. I still remember how badly Shoaib Akhtar insulted him due to his downright pathetic fatness.

To continue on from @Del, reason why Sarfraz was hot and cold and why he was so good from 2014 to mid 2017 was because his reflexes were good and his batting relies mostly on reflexes. Because he's aged and because of his lethargic nature he probably didn't even care. He probably doesn't even know what reflexes are. His technique is completely non existent in other terms and this shows as he often gets bowled.

    its not age

they just take it easy. just like in a new office job, you are very active first 6 months - 1 year. after securing your spot, you cool down and take it easy, in other words become lazy

You are comparing two different ideas. Having quick reflexes is extremely important. Ever wondered why batsman start to decline past 35?? Reflexes get slow. Sarfraz revolves his batting on having quick reflexes but now his reflexes have slowed down although yes he has been lazy because he hasn't worked hard to keep his reflexes fast.

Don’t give a flying flock about his statistics. There is no special player in Pak team who stands apart from rest of the lot - all are about in the same breadth (Yeah, Baber may be a little better).

I am glad that he is out because I never liked him continuously screaming like a wild donkey behind wickets at every single delivery.

And then calling everyone, including those who are elder than his uncles, “beyta” to indicate that he is some sort of an all knowing “mama ji”.

No class, no caliber, no aura, no charm, no inspiration, no personality, no intimidation, no persuasiveness, no leadership quality, and you made him captain in all three formats.
