Some New Features for your PakPassion Browsing!

We here at PakPassion are always looking to improve our site and meet the demands of our many members.

As you may or may not have noticed, there are two new features that we have quietly implemented.

1) At the top of every thread you open, you should now see various social media plugins that will allow you to share what you're reading with your followers.

You can tweet, digg, etc... without having to go through the extra hassle of copying and pasting the link. This should allow more exposure to PakPassion which will ultimately make our community grow even more. With that, comes fresh thoughts and opinions which we can all benefit from.

2) How many times have you seen a poster have trouble embedding a YouTube video? Well you no longer have to because now you can just directly paste the entire YouTube URL into your post! No buttons to click, no code extraction, just keep it sweet and simple.

These may be minor adjustments but we hope your experience when visiting PakPassion is better because of them.

As always, we welcome any feedback and other improvements you would like to see. In fact, we have a dedicated forum for exactly that.

I dont think any other cricket forum did it before cricistan so they are most probably copying things from Cricistan and setting the standards for others to follow

This thread isn't going away is it? I took lot of heat for this thread and Merc suffered in the process as he went along as mentioned earlier many times within this thread...he would often delete my posts in order to keep things private as we were never bitter just disappointed.

I am glad though we had the chance to discuss things openly on so many levels. I have always stressed the point that communities are built in forms of online discussion forms and there is real loyalty involved in the process. It is sometimes more then the site look and the features that keeps people interested.

The kind of response this thread has gotten...I could have never imagined it. I often say being a moderator or running the site is a thankless job but this thread just goes to show...it isn't and that people do appreciate the hard work.

See if you can figure it out. It won't be hard

I can attest to some of that, I was banned by Saj after challenging him a few times on things he posted. There was no warning, direct ban after I replied to a few things he posted and pointed out issues and biases. I have never looked back since, occasionally come here but don't post that much now.

The anti-afridi agenda is running strong and now hitting borderline ridiculous on the other site these days. Saj coming out with low threads, inciting speculation and and accusations against Afridi, it's really putting me off now.

btw. Saj made a thread about an interview of Mohsin Khan before and the title of the thread was ""Shahid Afridi is still like a baby" : Mohsin Khan" eventhough MHK was talking about lots of other stuff aswell, but Saj chose that quote as the thread title.

PP is a good site as there's a lot of users there and some quality users too. Only problem is some of the moderators are dodgy. If only we could have PP with the Cricistan moderators.

The modding is getting very dogdy indeed, especially in the PP Leagues, where some mods use their powers to their own favor.

Whatever, I like the leagues a lot so I try and keep my mouth shut but there is just too much favoritism going around there.

But the Afridi thread was jokes, I knew I'd be getting a reaction like that due to insecurity that's why I dropped it ASAP.

Yaar, the other day, Canistani Hero made a bid for one of my players as a joke, and then deleted his post so he couldn't be held to it.

There's been a lot of favoritism as well lately in the leagues which creates some bias (most of it is still fair as well).

Not to mention, mods have the ability to edit/delete their posts which immensely helps them promote their own posts/threads. Now of course if you ask them to do it for you, they will do it, but that kinda thing shouldn't be allowed in the first place in leagues - they're players just like us.

Also, how are all these brand new mods propping up? There aren't even any applications, and these members are have propped up in the last 3-4 months.

No you're right, I actually like him a lot, but I just didn't like how that went unnoticed and he just made a joke out of it when I called him out on it.
