    We have to hand it to ourselves that when it comes to moaning we are the world’s leading champions. Put two Pakistanis together, anywhere and in any country, and they will start crying about the dire state of everything. When she performed semi-naked we were up in arms. Now when she comes in Dupatta and full dress, we are still moaning. Always surprises me that in a country created for Muslims using Religion as the foundation, Islam is so weak.

    Why is it a problem if Ahsan Khan or Javeria Jalil host a show during Ramadan? just because they're actors? They do a pretty good job though & as far as I know..Ahsan Khan's a respected actor in Pakistan..doesn't fall into the same category as Veena and neither does Javeria...so, they're not really "anyone" as you're making them seem.

    Have you watched the Lux Style Awards or the PTV Awards?

    Ashan Khan was dancing with Mathira whatsherface.

    It just seems funny to me that these people do whatever they want for 11 months of the year and then completely change for 1 month.

    Firstly, you made it seem as if Veena Malik, Ahsan Khan, Javeria Jalil etc all are of the same league when that's not the case.

    Secondly, Ahsan Khan hosts a mere Ramadan quiz show. What's wrong in that?
    & your telling me that people on television are the only people that change/try changing themselves during this one month? right, lol. Besides, do we know what these moulanas/anchors who preach on these channels during Ramadan do those 11 mths apart from Ramadan? what big difference does it make? If you don't want to see someone, flick the channel. No point in arguing about why a celebrity gets to host a show during Ramadan.

    Anyway, if you've ever seen any of Ahsan Khan's interviews..then, it's quite evident that the guy himself admits that people may find it odd that an actor/performer is hosting a show during Ramadan ..however, he says that he's an actor by profession, otherwise he's a Muslim like anyone else who prays, fasts etc. Therefore, I personally don't see anything wrong with the likes of Ahsan or Javeria hosting a Ramadan show. By the way, Javeria used to recite Naats on PTV for yrs before she became an actress.

    I'm not his fan, although I do like his work as an actor...but that's besides the point.

    I watched his show, Haya Allal Falah last yr and liked it. It's a mere quiz show that tests your Islamic knowledge and he's just the host. He shows he has the Islamic knowledge to host such a show, does a decent job, and if you actually watch it then you gain important information on Islam. How is that wrong? merely because he performed with a girl on the only award event Pakistan has?

    About Veena Malik..she's not an actress. Every actor/actress on Pakistani television is not a Veena Malik. And, if you don't want to watch her then don't watch her show. I'm sure more than half of us don't even get this channel called Hero, so there should be no problem...and if you do, then simply don't watch it.
