Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat first, they've made one change bringing back their regular wicketkeeper in place of Mo Waqas.

West Indies already one down, Sarmad the wicket taker.

Good catch by Waqa considering he isn't a specialist wicket keeper.

Second wicket for Sarmad, Campbell drags the ball onto the wicket.

West Indies 7/2 after 4 overs.

Opening bowlers have bowled well so far.

Both West Indian opening bowlers Bolen and Holder have been pretty good with the new ball, the pressure is on the Pakistani batsmen.

Another wicket has gone and it's the talented Babar who miscues a pull/hook shot.

110/4 now but with a RR of 5.9 I think it may be too little too late. Rameez Aziz batting well again and Hammad Azam proving why the management have so much faith in his batting ability

Congratulations to Pakistan u19 and especially Hammad Azam for his unbeaten 90!!

The senior team should watch and learn from these youngsters how to win in the face of huge odds!

I think we should replace our senior team with this bunch of teenagers.

Congratz boys. We're really proud of you.

It was Babar Azam who was hyped the most but its the other Azam who has emerged as a hero. What a prospect he is. Brilliant innings.

I saw a little bit of the Azam-Waqas partnership and I was particularly impressed with the running between the wickets. It was like watching a professional Aussie side: Safe shots for 2, ball after ball. And our bowlers only conceded 2 wides and no NoBalls in 50 overs. What discipline. The senior team should indeed learn from them.

Captain Azeem Ghumman has a brilliant first class record but unfortunately he's not in the best of form in NZ. I hope he lifts the title and score a big one in the final. I'm looking forward to this final more than that Pak vs Aus ODI.

I know what you mean Wasim. I watched the 2006 u19 final between Pak and India instead of the senior Pak v India game. The juniors rewarded me with a spectacle that I'll never forget!!

For me the run out of Rameez Aziz was the the turning point of Pakistan's innings, he scored 30 odd runs for 80 balls. If he was out there any longer he could have easily lost the game for us, he really looked out of touch with the bat. Hammad played an outstanding innings with the support of Waqas, the gamble once again paid off playing a makeshift wicket keeper.

Usman Qadir bowled well, hopefully he has a good future ahead of him.
