It's raining and if we do get a match then it looks like Duckworth/Lewis will play a big factor.

i dont know a lot about links, have you tried justin.tv or sopcast? Besides the covers are back on and its very likely the game will be abandoned now. I think they'll only wait another hour.

Fayyaz could have had 3 wickets in his first over. This may turn out to be a top toss to win

Waqas is standing in for the regular keeper because they want to play an extra batsman or bowler but he's missing a lot of easy takes!

Pakistan have been playing 3 spinners before this match but seeing the pitch conditions they dropped Shazaib Ahmed for Fayyaz Butt. That's why Babar Azam has been brought in to bowl early whilst the Indians arent going after the bowlers. They're saving their gun spinners Raza and Qadir for later on in the game.

This Hammad dude looks like a really good prospect. Highest speed of 139.5 kmph today, and getting genuine bounce because of that action and his height.

I have to say, as far as fielding goes, the Pakistani u-19 look like world beaters! What happens to them once they turn 20 :( ? Maybe Ijaz Ahmed is making the difference there (on the other hand, we have Mr Waqar Younis as the fielding coach of the senior side, jeez).

Hammad is seen as a lower order dasher who can bowl medium pace, his bowling isn't rated. However after having seen him today he does get good pace for his age but these are ideal conditions for seam bowlers.

Watch for Raza Hassan, he's rated as a better prospect than Usman Qadir.

I did not know he could bat; The pace is definitely something we can work with though.

    Where is Usman Qadir!?

I think Hammad could clock 145k with a bit of work,. He runs in far too stiff, no flexibility or sling in his action yet he's getting it into the mid 130s.

Usman is playing, not sure why he is being held back, may be he bowls at the death?

Bowled beautifully today. Great control, and varied his pace fantastically against batsmen looking to slog him away. We always come in with great bowling variety for these u-19 tournaments.

Man that was the best 12 bucks I have ever spent in my life, Fayaz bowled the first ball which would be like a dream for any bowler, Dale Styne style Pitch Middle, Hit Off....best opener gone first ball...2nd wicket fell in same over when opener went for slog and got caught behind....to me best bowler was Hammad Azaam, who gets very awkward bounce and was really nice to watch and in final overs he was able to fire in yorkers too...he got only one wicket but bowled sooooo much better....and Raza the left arm spinner is a pretty big hearted bowler too.....Babur looks like as if he is in 6th grade, 15 year f age and looks like a 15 year but bowled quite well...some balls turned....Not bad at all

Bouncer, I thought Hammad Azam's action was quite ugly, he doesnt have any real whip to his action but depsite that he's bowling high 130s.

Raza is a left arm spinner, they are very rare and good ones are even rarer. If he develops as expected he is tipped for big things.

His action was awkward but I wouldnt quite call him ugly...But he is like 17 or 18..so he can only improve...but man he produced some nice teasing balls from good length...did u notice the similarity between Fayyaz's and Sohail Khan's action?

Hammad moves too much to his left and as a result he bends out and loses the dangerous bounce he should be generating with his height. But as you say he's only 18 so he has time to work out some flaws.

As for Fayyaz, I didnt notice that but I've barely slept over the last 24 hours

Aziz's helmet is too big for him, must be difficult trying to bat with that on your head

He is also messing a lot with the protective sheet of his bat, which seems to be coming off....get a pair of scissors and get'em fixed.

We'll win it...its going to be tough but we will win it

but the batting powerplay tends to bring wickets
