Last year's beaten finalists Sri Lanka take on a team that was made for the T20 format. Who'll come out on top?

New Zealand batsmen have always struggled with spin so I'll be backing the lankens for this one.

Sanga just said they're going to be using Jayasuriya as a lower order hitter down at number 6.

This is an important move because traditionally Sri Lanka have struggled to find someone to fill the role that hitters like Razzaq and Yuvraj play for their teams.

Kiwis will have no answer to the spin of Sri Lanka on these West Indian wickets.

Sri lanka have won the toss and have elected to bat first. I won't be suprised if Sr Lanka bring on the spinners early to put added pressure on the New Zealand batsmen when chasing.

Then again the kiwis tend to start well, they usually get to the semis

It comes as no suprise as spin will be introduced from ball one of the tournement.

Jayawarene struggle with the slowness off the pitch. Shane bond could be effective in these conditions.

A good controlled start from Sri Lanka. Although the pitch is slow the batsmen have adjusted well.

50/2 after 9.3 overs. Geo super coverage is annoying ads after every 2 deliveries.

I'm watching a Sky Sports stream on my iPhone over a wireless connection and other than the occasional bit of buffering its a crisp, smooth and clear picture. Way better than any online stream I've ever seen!!
