I think this is a good initiative and I hope some other cities follow suit too. If it's successful then the champion teams from each region could feed a Pakistan Champions League. It's small steps like the KCL that help build the sort of cricketing infrastructure that makes bigger steps possible in the future.

Excellent initiative but can't help but feel that if we are to improve our cricket, such monetary initiatives need to be channeled towards the longer form of the game.

Much as I love test cricket it will one day have to give in to ODI's or T20's as the game grows and countries such as India and Pakistan progress as well.

So it is a good thing that Pakistan cricket gets on board and does this country wide. It is a very good step. With plenty of money to go around you will definitely see club improve big time.

Those who don't perform will be kicked out of their clubs sooner or later. I don't care for international players put our national players in their respective regional or club teams and lets play quality cricket.

When there is money to be won by the best sides. Those teams are going to go out of their way to seek more talented players which should only help Pakistan.

    Brilliant. I wanna play.

And year its all about T20. Because we're the best at it. I'm sick of five days of painful experience of watching us getting humiliated. The last t20 provided more entertainment than the 3 tests or 5 odis combine. They should have more t20s on tour and less tests/odis. 5 odis is a stretch. So Indian-esque.

It'll be interesting to see how the KCL effects the cricketing structure in Pakistan, will Lahore follow suit? And if they do then why couldn't the PCB have done this years ago?

Because Rashid Latif and that mayor Mustafa Kamal are sincere people who want to serve cricket/people. PCB is a bunch of crooks.
