    True legend! Can't believe no threads on here dedicated to him.
    How many of you ever watched him fight? He was a great fighter and great entertainer in the 90's.

    A guy that was a shoe in to the Hall of fame but got distracted........and no barrera didnt crush his spirit he just lost the drive.

    yeh a wasted talent - he retired at a time he should have been entering his peak but his love for a fast lifestyle outweighed his love for boxing.
    i was talking to someone who used to visit the gym Nasim Hamed trained in and he said Hamed was the most gifted boxer he had ever seen, in sparring he would drop guys twice his size

    The power he produced for a featherweight was unreal! For the time he was was around he dominated most of his opponents. Very cocky and i loved the way he used to predict the round he would knock his opponent out. Used to love staying up for his fights. Some hilarious ring entrances.
