After New Zealand cancelled their tour of Zimbabawe over security fears, India and Sri Lanka have agreed to step in for a tri-series. The first game will be on 28th May and the last one will be on 9th June.

It looks like the whole world is getting more dangerous for playing sports.

Typial New Zealand, they'd win the pulling out WC hand down!

There's no real security situation in Zimbabwe is there? The only problem is can foresee is whether it'll actually be worth having a long mid-innings break (since they're normally used for the players to have their lunch!)

Both the Kiwis and the Aussies seem to see danger around every corner but that's only when the price isn't high enough. Lucrative series in India and the IPL have put the security myth to bed.

If the Zimbabwe board had influnce or were cash rich then the Kiwis would never have pulled out of the tour.
