Won champions league with Porto and Inter Milan.

On his way to win Laliga and May be champions league with Madrid as well.

although i am a barca fan but tbh i don't think guardiola n mourinho are on parallel. guardiola might have won barca the champions league n la liga but u got to admit that the team he has is oozing with class. whereas, morinho has done the same with porto n inter n now is at the verge of winning league with madrid n all these teams are in every sense not as good as barca.

    mourinho wins it for me.

    Clear bias.

Fair enough if you don't rate Fergie but to say he's not on the same planet shows your obvious dislike for Alex.

    Ferguson>Mourinho>Pep

I back Pep to top this however, but it depends on whether he is successful with Bayern or not.

    But TBH,

No one will ever manage to do what Pep did. NO ONE.

SAF had a dream to become the undisputed kings of England by kicking Liverpool off the throne.

Everyone riduculed this dream and thought it was impossible.

    But he did it!

    :clap to Sir Alex Ferguson

Look at this current Manchester United team, Isit the best of all time? Nope, Yet it has more points at this stage than any of the clubs sides had in the previous years. That is the class of Sir Alex Ferguson, He turns poor players into World class. Puts belief, Confidence and recognises players abilities better than anyone. Many times over the years Ferguson has been left with to rebuild and go transition mode with yet he won trophies.

So does Mourinho, He turned Chelsea from an average team to one of the best in Europe within the past decade. Terry, Lampard, Cech, Drogba are some of the clubs biggest names but only became known when he was managing. Not only that, Barring Chelsea and so far Madrid he's won the Champions league with every other club. Which is a massive achievement.

Pepe's not been in any of the situations which Fergi or Jose have. Hes always had fantastic players at his disposal, Even now at Munich he has Nueur, Robben, Lahm, Ribery. You and I would probably manage that Barcelona side during his tenure and be equally successful.

    Thats very naive.

People simply forgets what he did when he became the manager. He made big changes. He booted out our best players which was Deco, Ronnie and let Eto stay for only 1 season. He changed Messi`s positition and brought the best out of him. Iniesta and Xavi also raised their level immensily when he came. He brought back Pique who in Man Utd was behind in the pecking order. He brought Dani Alves.

He made big adjustments to our playing style.

Rijkaard had the same players, but we still ended 3rd in his last season and was out of sorts, terrible in every aspect.

Even Mourinho got some very good players in Chelsea, Inter and now in Real Madrid.

Putting down Pep`s performance just because we had Messi, Xavi, Iniesta etc is ridiculous.

Not everyone could have been successful with that squad.

It still doesn't personify the fact that he hasn't done what Ferguson or Mourinho have. Maybe we'll see in a couple of years time but at the moment he's behind both of them.

    I agree with that.

Its just that people who think he did well just because he had a good team irks me. He did a massive job in changing the entire team.

The best decision our previous club prez took ever was to appoint Pep instead of Mourinho.

Lol, why do people resort to such ridiculous comments

When Pep took over Barca they were nothing special, important to note they had just finished 3rd behind Villareal under Rijkaard

If it's so easy to be equally successful why didn't Rijkaard turn them into the best side in the world and one of the best sides of all time?

No doubt Pep was lucky that he inherited some class players BUT don't underestimate the role he played in turning them into a great team, that is the mark of a great manager and some lulloo like you and I won't be able to replicate that success so no need to post such hyperbole

At the time I badly wanted Mourinho to get the job, was sick of Rijkaard and was convinced he would do a brilliant job (still think he would have done very well) BUT glad that Pep did get the job, guy was phenomenal

You know Mourinho actually got the job and Laporta was about to call him to tell about the decision, but Cruyff made Laporta change his mind and went for Pep instead.

Makes you think whether this is the reason Mou is so bitter regarding us.

Yeah, Mourinho was desperate for the job, did a full on presentation and everything for it

The influence of Cruyff was huge, he felt Pep with his long history with the club would be more suited and he was right
