Pakistan take on India for the first time in a long time but will you be watching the Asia Cup or the Football World Cup.

I'm sure most of us here will try to watch both but when there's a conflict which one would you rather watch?

I can't stand soccer so it's not a conflict for me.

    asia cup

I'll be definitely watching the Asia Cup
Football Worldcup is an over rated event, specially in Pakistan. Whats there to watch in football? 90 minutes of extreme torture where you have one or two happenings only that are worth watching, i.e. if there are any goals :/
Cricket is the game to watch, Extreme Excitement on every Single ball!

So Asia Cup it will be!

Bilal, the football World Cup can also be quite exciting if you get into it. Football is more eventful in the sense that there's always something going on, it's rare for the ball to just be passed around for long periods without any attempts on goal.

In contrast sometimes during a cricket match (like the middle of an ODI innings) we can have 90 minutes or more where nothing much happens and players are just blocking or nudging singles.

Hmm, I think I'll have to partially agree with you. But still, in cricket atleast we have someone to truly support whereas in football everyone has I guess around 3,4 teams to support. The hype and excitement that is when watching cricket is not created while watching football. Even the boring middle of the innings as you've mentioned is mostly worth watching. So I'd still prefer cricket :p

I love playing Football, for the Record. There aren't many games that can challenge the pace of Football. There is almost always something happening during the match. The rush of adrenaline, the euphoria is unmatchable. If Pakistan wasn't involved in Asia Cup then i would have watched Soccer but for matches involving Pakistan i would prefer them over the WC unless and until offcourse its the knock out stage

I love football. I have played it on a very high level here in Norway, but due to injuries I had to retire when I was 18/19. (I am 30 today). I am looking forward to see Argentina and Spain in the WC.

But when It comes to Pakistan play cricket and it conflicts with football, I will definately watch Pakistan :)

No TV coverage in the UK for Asia Cup, so I'll doubt I'll watch any game. :))

The Football World Cup is one of the greatest sporting events. Will watching it closely all the way through. :D

Football, pinnacle of world sport, remember back in the last world cup, u'd see the geeks in class who would normally only talk about lost and prison break, talk about Ronaldos Wink and other world cup shenanigans
