A team who hasn't won a single trophie in it's last five consecutive years, however a team full of youthful talent and led by one of the great managers around.

With both United and chelsea dropping points, Arsenal seem to have got themselves back into the title race, with a game in hand it should be an intriguing finish to the best league in the world.

Arsenal to win the Treble :D

Arsenal demolished Pomey yesterday. I have yet to pledge allegiance to any Premiership team. But if I was to, it would be the gunners.

    Common sense prevails:D

Arsenal have been on a great run since the Chelsea game, I still think we need another striker during the January transfer window. I just hope Eduardo find some form and quick if we are to win the league.

It's funny how everyone seems to be an Arsenal fan these days, I remember half a decade back hardly anyone I knew would admit to being a gunner. Now everyone is 'going to the Emirates' every other weekend!

It was a great result last night which I was lucky enough to witness at the stadium, the goals which were conceded were very much self inflicted rather than Bolton deserving the lead. However Arsenal showed the spirit required to come back from a 2-0 deficit. The next three weeks will determine whether Arsenal has what it takes to become the league champions once again.

Merc, People are attracted to the brand of football which Arsenal seem to play rather than hoof the ball stuff, I for one have come across more United fans than Arsenals.

A decade back they had a pretty good team actually. I have admired them for a long time due to their style of play. A lot of the credit goes to Wenger and his perseverance with youngsters (sometimes unknown) who have turned into stars. Wenger can sometimes be a bit of a whinger though.

They have had some really bad luck from missing injured players for a long time.

I have not met many Arsenal fans in Kuwait. Most are Chelsea/Man U or Barcelona fans.

Didn't they win the Double almost a decade ago (2002?)? That was Viera's and Henry's Arsenal. I've been a fan ever since.

I got into football in 1996 and that was because of like of Overmars and Berkhamp and ever since been Arsenal fan. How can anyone not love Arsenal since Wenger became manager? :)

Although I've never supported Arsenal as a team, I've definitely appreciated players like Bergkamp and Henry.

Bergkamp, Overmars, Henry, Vierra, the famous back four defence.

The new squad isnt too bad either.

Arsenal are also have the best finance model out of the other top teams. They will not blindly buy expensive players and have been very shrewd.

Wenger has a knack of bringing in unknown footballers who have become big stars or better players.

I feel Robert Pires deserves to be mentioned among those greats, his one touch link up play with Henry and co was out of this world at times, I still remember his goal against Liverpool at Anfield, which will be remembered for years to come.

Arsenal suffered a defeat to Stoke in the FA cup at the weekend so there goes my prediction of the Treble. Aston Villa on Wednesday which is always a tough place to go, hopefully Bendtner is back to bolster the striking options.

It's been a sad couple of weeks for me loosing to both united and Chelsea comprehensively.

Anyway, looking back this season has been filled with soo many twists and turns, after the chelsea game Arsenal were out of the title race but with both United and Chelsea dropping points during the mid-week were back in the hunt. Looking forward to the CL, should be a fantastic finishing.

A hard thought win against a fighting Hull city. The business end of the premiership is amongst us and both United and Chelsea with some tough fixtures ahead.

Arsenal have proven to many doubters that they have the credentials to be champions as well as playing without their most influential players.

It's all looking bright in North London at the moment. West Ham the victims today and I can only hope this rich vein of form can see us through to the end of the season with some silverware to show for.

    Birmingham up next!

Arsenal got a taste of there own medicine and the gamble of playing both Fabregas and Gallas could have cost us the CL as well as the PL. But as an Arsenal fan I live in hope going into the second leg and maybe just go away with a 1-0 victory :p.

The injuries have really hampered Arsenals hope of some silver wear this season and with the debts of club falling dramatically, I can only hope Wenger brings out the cheque book and signs some quality players before the world cup.

Arsenal ain't going to win anything the way there going. They will be the same more or less every season unless the spend money, which i dont see Arsene Wenger doing. The only thing they will be looking to win is the crappy carling cup and FA cup... And even then they play there young teams so are not even bothering with those cups. It will be like this until wenger decideds to open his wallet and spend some. You can't expect Arteta and Benayoun to win you the premier league/ champions league. They are heavily dependant on RVP, were would they be without him? More or less like Wigan ....

Buying Podolski would be a big bonus to Arsenal. He is a very good attacking option. Lets see what Wenger actually does.

it says alot when everybody put arsenal down as not even finishing anywhere near 4th and they are now 3rd with the limited players they do have

arsenal will win the league if they get the right players

name me another team who have dismantled chelsea and spurs, gone to liverpool beaten them and outplayed mancity 3 times...only to win finally at the emirates

"With the limited players they have". Thats the point im making. If they were to spend on some good big players then yes they would contest for the title, but until they spend they won't be contesting anything.

i was reading a stat actually

    After 5 PL Games

    Arsenal - 4 Points
    United - 15 Points
    City - 13 Points

    Last 25 PL games

    Arsenal - 54 points
    Man United - 58 Points
    Man city - 57 Points

    that says it all really

arsenals blip in the first 5 games has really cost them big time and a title, read post after this to see the real extent.

the last 25 games is nothing to seperate the three teams at all...

compiled on the 25th of march so more games have happened since then...ill find out what the figure is now

Arsenal beat mancity and wolves and lost to qpr - 6 points
manunited beat qpr and blackburn lost to wigan - 6 points
mancity lost to arsenal and drew to sunderland, beat westbrom - 4 points

so 28 games after the first 5 for arsenal

    arsenal have 60 points

    manunited have 64 points

    mancity have 61 points

It was when he was forced to buy players things started to change for them. For Arsenals sake he should spend this summer...

I agree with you that wenger need to spend..but what Pashtun is trying to say here..is that no other team would have survived or performed like this after the shambles in the begining of the season.

I know the point what Pashtun is making, and it is valid and concurs to what im saying.
Arsenal were at a point were they sold Nasri and Fabregas and had not brought any players in to replace them, as well as at the time Wilshere being injured. When the fans started to turn on wenger in the january window it was when he decided to purchase some players (Forced). He got Arteta, Benayoun, Mertasacker. And this is when the tide started to change.

Yesterday listening to his press conferance, he ain't going to spend. So we more or less will see the same from Arsenal next season, and finishing in the same spot and winning nothing.

the loss to wigan was awful

aaron ramsey has been so poor its not even funny to question his poorness... his loss of form is a huge let down
because he finished last season and started this season so well... hopefully its just dip in form because the kid is very talented

@RapidSnake29 the fact that the team has suddenly risen past everybody's expectations wenger feels safe in his little bubble again...if rvp leaves which i doubt he will we will have the biggest problem on our hands...club will fail...i thought they could cope without fabregas and nasri but not without rvp...unlike the other two he is a born leader of players

Loosing Fabregas was big. I did not care about Nasri, personallly i reckon he is overated. I think your Arsenals biggest loss was the injury of Wilshere. The way he just ripped teams and controlled games was unbelieveable. People think Arsenal started bad because off Fabregas leaving i think it was Wilshere injury that has had a huge affect on them.
If RVP leaves Arsenal will become no better then the likes of Wolves or Blackburn, he is what has kept them anything decent this season and without him i cannot imagine were they would be. Arsenal fans better hope he signs a new deal. And the way wenger thinks this team will win the league is beyond me. He needs to spend. You can't expect Arteta to win leagues lol...
If i was a Arsenal fan i would pray for 3things:
1: RVP signs a new deal
    2: Wenger spends this summer
    3: Wilshere gets better fast!
