Asif is playing his 20th test match. At the end of 1st England innings, his tally of wickets is at 99 now ... after 5/77. One more wicket in 2nd innings, he will eqaul Waqar Younis's record of 100 wickets in fewest tests for Pakistan.

Here is list of all bowlers who reashed 100 wickets in 30 or less tests;
Fastest to 100 wickets

Very well done Asif and well played so far. Now imagine, if he was not banned, dropped and allowed to visit Dubai. He could gotten many more. Hope he does not do anything stupid in future.

Quite a stunning bowler. Hopefully controversy is now behind him, though he'll always remain tarnished by it. Hilarious interview on Sky today - conducts himself quite well, and despite his off-field exploits, he's quite classy; Pietersen can "kill bowlers off" was a fantastic 'quote-unquote'.
